This morning as I was putting away my dishes from the dishwasher I began to think through all of the obstacles that I need to overcome. There has been a lot of; let's just say....hard times here in the Weinberg household. Sometimes I feel so alone dealing with life, but I know that I am not alone, and that in my deepest and darkest hour Jesus is right by my side! As I finished up my cleaning in the kitchen an old hymn came into my mind, "I Need Thee Every Hour", as I began to sing the lyrics to that old song that I remember singing when I was a child, tears began to stream down my cheeks! I need thee, O I need thee, every hour I need thee! I am so thankful that when I need my Lord and Saviour He is right there with open arms just waiting to embrace me!! Thank you Jesus for ALWAYS being there!
I need Thee every hour, most gracious Lord;
No tender voice like Thine can peace afford.
I need Thee, oh, I need Thee;
Every hour I need Thee;
Oh, bless me now, my Savior,
I come to Thee.
I need Thee every hour, stay Thou nearby;
Temptations lose their pow’r when Thou art nigh.
I need Thee every hour, in joy or pain;
Come quickly and abide, or life is vain.
I need Thee every hour; teach me Thy will;
And Thy rich promises in me fulfill.
I need Thee every hour, most Holy One;
Oh, make me Thine indeed, Thou blessed Son.

great reminder for me today. Too often I think that my experience and knowledge is enough to see me through. In reality, I do need Jesus.
that's awesome that in your trial, the lord spoke to you so clearly...it shows he is close with you every step of your journey!
