Every night before I go to bed I tip toe into my daughter's room to take one more look at her and thank the Lord for the blessing of Addison in our lives! I think back to the months and months that my husband and I tried to conceive, and every month that the test came back negative I would again ask the Lord for blessing us with a child. The day came at the end of January 2008 when the test came back positive. I remember glancing down and seeing the + sign and then looking up toward heaven with tears in my eyes and thanking God over and over for this wonderful blessing!!

What are you thankful for today? Maybe some of you are finding it hard to be thankful today due to a hard situation that you are going through. I challenge you to start thinking of some things that the Lord has blessed you with and THANKING Him for those blessings. You will be amazed at how this turns your mood around. It blesses God to give to his children! Turn your eyes upon Jesus today and EXPECT great blessings in your life!
